
American actor Anna Maria Chlumsky was born on December 3, 1980.[2] As a child, she began acting. She is most well-known for her part as Vada Sultenfuss in the film My Girl (1991)and its sequel, My Girl 2 (1996). Following her initial roles, she went on break from 1999 until 2005 in order to go to college.Chlumsky returned to acting in parts in various independent films that included Blood Car (2007) and In the Loop (2009). She portrayed Amy Brookheimer on the HBO television series Veep (2012-2019), which received her six nominations to the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, among other honors.
